competency, sound quality--mostly live--
and excitement here, which sometimes
makes for an annoying experience, but

Thamks to Henri Weld I found out that this is a totally other band named The Lepers. These Lepers came from Cleveland, Ohio.
This 7" EP was their only release, back in 1979.

Ab Hjärntvätt - Det är våra hjärnor - demo (1983)

AB Hjärntvätt was a punkband that existed during the years 1982 and 1984. The band was formed on Björkö outside of Göteborg (Gothenburg) by Kristian ("Zibbe"), Mats ("Håret") and Patrik. They did their first performance on Café Hisingen in Gothenburg in the spring of 1983 together with a numerous other punkbands. The arrangement was called "Spelning Mot Staten" (Gig against the state). Patrik then quitted and instead Robban, Hasse and later also Anders ("Skarren") joined. AB Hjärntvätt made several gigs in the Gothenburg-area until 1984 when they split-up. During the bands lifetime they released one selfrecorded cassette tape "Det är våra hjärnor" in 1983.

3. LovesongAkutt Innleggelse started off as a noisy punk outfit in the early 80's, featuring adolescents Thomas and Bengt (aged approximately 13 or 14) and their friends Rolf and Espen (only slighty older).

Their first trip to the studio, in 1983, yielded the Echoes From The Asylum 7", released on Thomas' newly-formed Straightjacket label.

After replacing Espen and adding Bjørn on vocals, the band headed in a more "hardcore"-sounding direction.

An April '84 session produced a 9-song demo; several tracks from this ended up on various international compilations.

In 1985, the band called it quits. Thomas (aka Happy-Tom) and Bengt (aka Bingo) went on to play in Turbonegro.
