Der Junge Werther - Funtime (1988)

In 1988 the group records a second demo called "Funtime". It is recorded on a 2 track recorder in Studio 21 in Bolsward. Between 1986 and 1988 the band has a gig every month. They play at Mukpop and even on a national radioshow called "De Krijsende Tafel" with Marc Stakenburg as host.
This was a weird performance without Leo, who has already left the band. After that Bert also wants to stop they decide to call an end to the group and perform for the last time in It Badhûs in Zwaagwesteinde on April 20, 1990.
On the 10th anniversary of De Kleine Prijs Van Sneek in 1993, they re-unite for one more performance.
Der Junge Werther would split up in many other bands such as Ubangi 4, De Trije Gurbes, Sketchers and Sebeare.

After vocalist Ruben Korfmaker had left the band Mortal Remains the band was renamed to Der Junge Werther.
The band becomes famous for being a finalist in De Kleine Prijs Van Sneek contest but only winning it after 6 times in 1989.
In 1984 the band records it's first demo "Smile" at the Vannu in Bolsward. Another show in Simplon in Groningen is filmed.

Berlin Brats - Demo (1976)

Berlin Brats was a band formed by guitarist Mike Livingston in the early 70's. Together with school buddies Rod Donahue, Rick Sherman and a unknown guitarist they started playing gigs under the name Berlin Brats.
Rick Sherman's girlfriend became known as being the last victim of serialkiller Joel Ripkin. Victim #17.
Rick visits Europe in October 1977 where he meets Kickboy, Darby Crash (the Germs) and the people of Castration Squad.
By that time Berlin Brats already had some releases.
This is their first demo from 1976.

The band was known as Metal Militia, and as Tyrant for a few weeks in the very beginning. Tormentor released 2 demo's and a rehearsal tape.
This is the 2nd demo from November 1984.
This demo was recorded in one day at Zeche Carl Studios.
"Armies of Hell" and "Cry War" have Ventor on vocals.
