Der Junge Werther - Funtime (1988)

In 1988 the group records a second demo called "Funtime". It is recorded on a 2 track recorder in Studio 21 in Bolsward. Between 1986 and 1988 the band has a gig every month. They play at Mukpop and even on a national radioshow called "De Krijsende Tafel" with Marc Stakenburg as host.
This was a weird performance without Leo, who has already left the band. After that Bert also wants to stop they decide to call an end to the group and perform for the last time in It Badhûs in Zwaagwesteinde on April 20, 1990.
On the 10th anniversary of De Kleine Prijs Van Sneek in 1993, they re-unite for one more performance.
Der Junge Werther would split up in many other bands such as Ubangi 4, De Trije Gurbes, Sketchers and Sebeare.

After vocalist Ruben Korfmaker had left the band Mortal Remains the band was renamed to Der Junge Werther.
The band becomes famous for being a finalist in De Kleine Prijs Van Sneek contest but only winning it after 6 times in 1989.
In 1984 the band records it's first demo "Smile" at the Vannu in Bolsward. Another show in Simplon in Groningen is filmed.

Darby Crash Band - Starwood 27-8-1980

In 1975, at the age of 17, he devised a five-year plan for achieving immortality: form a band, collect a following, release one album, then commit suicide. The band started as a dare; T-shirts were made before any songs were learned. Its following expanded from a few hangers-on to members of the fast-rising hard-core scene from the nearby suburbs and beach communities....The Darby Crash Band was a music project started by Darby Crash and Pat Smear, founding members of the Los Angeles punk rock band, The Germs, formed after the band split in 1980.
They recruited Circle Jerks drummer, Lucky Lehrer, as well as, David "Bosco" Danford to play bass and began playing shows in Los Angeles.
The band's setlists would include a number of well known songs from The Germs' archives, as well as newly written material.
The band never recorded and played only a small number of shows before Darby's death on the 7th of December, 1980.

This is a show at the Starwood 27-8-1980.

Wehrmacht - Death Punk (1986)

Wehrmacht was featured on the "Speed Metal Hell III" compilation album in 1987 with the song "Night of Pain". That song came from this 3rd demo from 1986.

Wehrmacht - Live 11-7-1986

Wehrmacht is an American thrash metal/hardcore band, that was formed in Portland, Oregon in 1985. After releasing two albums on New Renaissance Records, the band split up.

Matos and Zorich went on to form Spazztic Blurr and Lehfeldt went to Cryptic Slaughter. Matos now appears as a DJ under the name Mestizo69 and also continues as a vocalist. Lehfeldt also played with Sweaty Nipples and toured with Everclear. His most recent projects are Drumattica and Tri-polar. Mortimer went on to play with the Nervous Christians and Bastard Children of the Roman Empire. He is now a criminal defense attorney. Duffy has continued playing music, most recently with the band Kapuda.

Despite the band's name they do not have Nazi ideals.

With "Micro-E!" they recorded the shortest metal-song ever, the length being just 0.1 seconds.
